Studio Wanted

Dear friends,
I am currently looking high and low for a new studio space and I'm hoping you can help! Above is a little cluster drawing of daydreaming I did while picturing my perfect space. If you have property in New Orleans for sale or rent that you think might be great for an artist, please get in touch with me. I'm hoping to find something new within a month. Thanks for your help! I'm so excited!

Looking for a new studio space got me thinking about all the places I've painted over the years, so I dug up these photos to share: (hopefully some of you recognize paintings you own in these images :)

Octavia Art Gallery is pleased to announce the first edition of Drawing the Line, a juried exhibition. Drawing has been conventionally associated with pen, pencil and paper. However, artists have surpassed this definition of the medium through their exploration of innovative materials, conceptually redefining the use of line. Drawing now encompasses film, computer screens, earth, walls, and materials ranging from sticks to pixels. The nature of drawing is not limited by media, nor is it characterized by a format. The underlying concept of this exhibition is to celebrate lines as a distinct medium, which can transcend the limitations of two-dimensional forms.

Drawing the Line is open to all artists and all mediums are accepted, providing the focus of the work is on line. Local artist Rebecca Rebouche will jury the exhibition.
