Intermission

I have been trying to carve out time for a proper recap of recent shows, events, honors and achievements pertaining to Rebecca Rebouche Studio, of which, happily, there have been many. However, my days have been as full as New Orleans gutters in summer. So, the sincere and complete recap will be postponed until early September.

I have moved my studio and I am preparing my Fall body of work. I will of course post previews and inspiration from my journals and camera before releasing the new paintings. But for now... a necessary intermission.

I am taking a much needed vacation with my mother to Hamburg, Berlin and the Baltic Sea. I will use the trip as a break from phone, blog, email, and facebook. I normally love to document my travels here on the blog, but this time, I chose to skip the trouble of international roaming, and laptop power cords, in favor of traveling light and staying in the moment. I hope to return refreshed and inspired. I do hope you understand.

When I return to the easel in early September, I will return to regular blogging as well.
