I have been posting to my blog at blogger since 2007. Over the years I have shared many moments, announcements, journal pages, photos, travelogues, paintings and stories both personal and professional. This blog has at times felt like my only friend, my only connection to a creative community, and my only free space to share what I am feeling. It has truly become a personal account of my professional life as a young artist.
It is with great joy that I announce that my blog has recently undergone a long-overdue makeover. You may have noticed that www.rebeccarebouche.com also underwent quite the facelift recently! I hope that you will find the new website and blog much easier to navigate and enjoy. I wanted to keep the new blog separate from the website (rather than embedded) because, as I told my web developer, I love thinking of the Blog as an online sheet tent, a place you can go with a cup of tea, to curl up and be transported. A safe place to share thoughts and growing pains. A fun place to be inspired and creatively energized. A corkboard of news and events. A place for friends, to comment, connect, and keep up.
The internet can feel quite impersonal at times, but I hope you know that my blog has always been a bold and daring attempt to be an open book. Put my life and work out for those who need it to take what they need. In return, your comments, and subscriptions have, truly sustained and inspired me in return. So, won't you join me, over on the new blog? Perhaps you will want to explore the archives, or the new categories to happen upon something you missed. It's all still there, from 2007 to the present day.
